Default 2014 RXV Problem - State Of Charge Meter Drops Immediately

My 2014 EZGO RXV has developed a problem with the state of charge meter. On a full charge, It takes very little time / distance for the Meter to fall to 1/2 and then 1/4. Since this problem developed, I have charged the batteries individually and they are holding a charge equally of around 12.8, I have changed the battery cables for new heavy duty cables and have installed a new digital state of charge meter with read outs on pack charge, and pack %. Again the same problem existed and the pack shortly after going out went to 1/2 then 1/4, (29% ran it down to 24%). After returning home the pack charge went back to the 50.1V within a short period without being on charger at all. Would appreciate any insight on this problem?!..
Thanks

How old are your batteries?

How well have they been maintained?

Batteries are two years old. Since I've had the cart (Since April) I check the levels and voltage on batteries every week

If batteries are bad, would they hold 12.8 / 12.9 and would the pack pull back up to 50.1 while sitting idle?

Those two guys above know their stuff, but have you put a dvm on the pack when the meter is showing low?

I could be totally misremembering, but seems like I’ve read that the rxv gets is voltage reading from the controller???

No-load voltage isn't always the best indicator of ride-time.

What brand batteries? US? RXVs don't fully charge US batteries due to the QE/SC-48 not being set for them. I don't know how you even get one set to a different profile. They're meant for Trojans out the gate. We have been finding this out the hard way as we are having US batteries damaged two-three years later coming back.

If they're some garbage cheap brand ala Rural King or Exide you can pretty much expect short ride time and up to three years at best.

I have also heard that the RXV Controller determines a % for the battery pack. What Voltages do I need to look for, if there is any? Today the SOC was at 29% and the battery pack voltage was at 38v - 33v under load and jumped back to 44v - 47v when off the pedal. And as said, When pulled back home the voltage immediately started climbing back up when at rest before charge.
Thanks Again All, just trying to figure this out.

33-38v under load is absolutely horrible. You have a battery problem for sure.
