EZGO Headlight/Taillight Issues
I’ve got a 2012 txt 48v cart. It didn’t have headlights/taillights when I bought it so I got an aftermarket kit and the voltage reducer. Everything worked great for 2+ years until I had to replace the cart batteries. Now the taillights don’t work at all and the headlights are super dim(only a couple of the individual LEDs are lighting, the rest are completely off). Thought maybe the voltage reducer was bad but 12 volts from a separate battery straight to the lights produces the same dim headlights and no taillights. I’m wondering if the new batteries blew the lights. Each 8v battery is producing approx 11 volts when fully charged. 65.2v output for the system. Seems high for a “48 volt” cart. Could this “high” voltage be causing my issues?

Re: EZGO Headlight/Taillight Issues
Did you check to be sure you have a 12 volt ground to the lights
Sounds like a bad, loose, corroded connection to lights or lights supply voltage. I would check battery voltage with another meter. 11 volts when charged not possible from 8 volt battery |
