Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
Thanks - Will try that and report back.
I have 3 different less expensive multimeters but can grab another one. |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
After driving 1.9 miles and it bucking, we took it back out and it was definitely slower.
We put a multimeter on the main positive and main negative and under full load it was showing around 38.7v full throttle. |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
Your batteries are gone.... Time to replace.
And if you checked them one at a time under load there may be small differences in them, but for the pack voltage to be that low (unless you were going up a steep incline) then the pack is too weak to meet the required load. |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
And remember when you replace them you will have to season/break them in. Meaning it will be as much as 30-50 full charges before the batteries are at full strength.
Just try to avoid ever going below 50% SOC and always use the P&P principle (Park it & Plug it!) |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
So...put all new batteries in the cart and works good. Drive it about 5 miles and no loss of power.
I plugged in my ERIC charger overnight and it was still flashing in the morning. I unplugged everything for an hour and plugged the charger back in and still flashing since this morning. Do I need to buy a new charger now? |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
Did you connect the charger receptacle wire back to the pack and/or all wiring exactly as it was prior to battery replacement?
And if so, is it flashing and beeping when you connect it just as usual? If it is, the batteries are still charging and it can take as much as 24 hours on new batteries. Also be sure to unplug the DC cord AND the AC cord to reset the ERIC. |

Re: 2015 Club Cart - ERIC Charging/Battery Issue
While it is charging, throw your hand held DVM on the pack and ensure you see it charging.... If so, just let it go. It will turn off when it is fully charged.

Yes, all hooked up the same way. OK - I will let it charge again overnight.
