Default Fuses to circuit breakers.

I'm wondering if any of you have replaced fuses with pop out breakers? I'm going to replace my fuse panel ( suffering from time and weather ) and I'd like to use pop outs instead. I already have them and they are the same ampere rating as the fuses I want to replace. Just to clarify, I'm not having any fuse blowing problems, the fuse board is just disintegrating! Thanks for your inputs!

Are the breakers rated for outdoor usage?

I would love to do that. In the aircraft I fly that's all we have. I have always wondered why car manufacturers don't use them more often.

If you have them, use them. As long as you are matching you amp ratings, you'll be fine.

These are out of an aircraft! I've often wondered why car makers don't use them too. They're not that expensive, but they do cost more than a fuse!

They are from an aircraft, so I hope so!

@ DOOmsman,

I used to have one of those! They are awesome! You can get hypnotized if you stare at it!
