Snow plow on an electric TXT?
While rummaging through Craigslist recently I found a couple of electric TXT's with a plow attachment. I can't imagine a golf cart would be a good plow machine. Am I right or am I just uneducated on the physics of a golf cart moving snow?

Re: Snow plow on an electric TXT?
electric motors can make full torque at 0 rpm, whereas a gas engine needs to be revving up to get full rpm, making electrics ideal for pushing snow believe it or not. However, a stock one might have some troubles depending on how much snow, but this can be fixed by some upgrades

Re: Snow plow on an electric TXT?
But would traction be an issue or is the weight of the batteries and placement of them be another good reason to use an electric to plow with?

Re: Snow plow on an electric TXT?
This time of year our local Club Car dealer in central Iowa does a pretty brisk business mounting plows on golf cars. They put on chains and claim they do quite a good job in under 6" of snow. I'll stick with my Cat diesel.
