We should probably start a new thread for the RXV and finding a cost efective performance solution. Like this>>> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tml#post817293

I'm into EZGO stuff mostly, but if you can give me the gear ration, my magic spreadsheet won't know the difference.

205 is tire width in mm (8.070866142")
30 is side wall to width ratio. (2.4212598")
12 is wheel diameter in inches.
So the tire height (sidewall height X 2 + wheel diameter) is 16.842519" or 16.8"

If that was on a stock EZGO TXT (12.44:1) it would be about 14.1MPH
ON a RXV (16.99:1) it would be about 10.3MPH
Looks like I had something crossed - maiden voyage today - 34 Mph - 7300 rpm

I believe stock gear on cc is 12.44:1. - I am happy

That's PDQ.

I'm curious about how you are getting the 7300 RPM number.

With 16.8" tires and a 12.44:1 gears, my spreadsheet says about 8400RPM at 34MPH.
To get 34MPH @ 7300RPM, it says the tires need to be about 19.5" tall or the gears have to be about 10.7:1.

I'm probably missed something someplace, I just don't know what.

Lol - keeping me honest.

Top speed 34 in a slightly declined section of my development - the rpm only I read 7300 rpm but heck - it could have been when I was not at peak 34 - driving and pushing buttons was a little hectic at speed

It a dirty job, but somebodies got to do it.

You need a co-pilot to push the buttons.
