Default Is this the correct way to wire 48 volt reducer and fuse block?

Can anyone confirm or deny that this is correct?

You have 5 wires and most reducers only have 4 because the reduce only the + side of the circuit. The accessories and the reducer use a common - .

My reducer has 5 wires like what I put in my diagram. Manufacturer says to run 48v (negative) in directly to battery pack, and 12v (negative) out to accessory. I assume running both to the same grounding block would do the same thing, but want to be sure.

Maybe we could better help if we could see the instructions you are working with? I would not run the reducer off of the ground block unless it went to the same terminal as the main - ... Lots of ways to skin this cat
I'm not saying yours won't work.

Directions are attached. Your thoughts are much appreciated. If there is a better way than my diagram above I want to go that route. Also, I'll edit my diagram so as to not confuse anyone who may come across it later.

Curious, why not wire it like the instructions?

You mean just run the regulator's 48v feed directly from the battery pack? I was going to do that but to avoid having four things (charger negative, controller, voltage reducer, and ground block) all connected to that same battery post I thought I could get the same effect by moving the reducer's lead to the ground block. If it makes more sense to just run the reducer's lead to the post I will do that.

Does this make more sense?

Everybody likes something a little different. You are right to not want to stack a bunch of connectors on the battery where it is a corrosive environment.

So do you think it is better to wire like in my first diagram, or to use the format shown in the second just a couple posts up? In my mind it wouldn't matter, but I don't understand these things nearly as well as you!!!
