Default Bad Bearings

Good morning everyone,
So I've been reading posts about changing axle bearings because of a grinding noise. Sure enough I pulled of the left side (driver side) and the bearings were completely destroyed! They just fell on the ground. The right side was intact and no damage.
My question is (see attached pic) do I remove what looks like the bearing casing? I have the right side off and since I'm replacing the left, I might as well replace both.
Left side looks different than the right. The axle goes back in just can't get the seal, clip, bearing, clip back in!
My suspicion is since the bearings were destroyed and out of their casing, the casing is what is stuck in there.
If so, any thoughts on how to get it out?
I have a 2006 ezgo txt.

Thank you

Thank You Gornoman,
I picked up an axle puller from my local auto shop. To dark outside to do anything.
I will try it in the morning. Looks easy enough but you never now.
Thats exactly what my bearings looked like.
Thx again.
