Default wheels

I have a off road cart that has 22x8x10 tires. If I go with 12" or 14" rims will I get more ground clearance or just lose side wall height ? Speed doesn't matter what I need to keep is torque. Which I have plenty now.

The "22" in your current tire size is the overall height. So another 22 inch tire, regardless of what size wheel it mounts on, would give you the same height and ground clearance. The difference would be in the sidewall height, which can have an effect on handling and ride quality.

Would I suffer in torque if I went to a 25 or 26x11x12 ?

You will feel the loss of torque going from 22' to 25'

Which is usually lighter? A 22" tire on an 8-10" rim, or a 22" tire on a 12-14" rim?

Assuming all of the above mentioned rims are made of the same material, the tire/wheel assembly with the smallest rim would be the lightest.

David, If I'm running no.2 cables, 800 solenoid, 500 Alltrax and high torque D&D motor. Can I run your 25x10x12 mud grip compo and not hurt me to bad ? Trying to get a little more ground clearance.
