Default Taking delivery tomorrow. Any advise?

My dealer finally called and said my 2Five has arrived. It's a blue 2017. I'm picking it up tomorrow. This is my first Golf Cart and I'm very excited.

Other than driving it around the block, making sure everything works, and looking for any shipping damage, is there anything else you guys suggest before taking delivery?

Also, does anyone know if it comes with a charging cord!

Congrats!

Check the battery water levels, and if it comes with the water refill system change it out for regular battery caps.

Mine came with a charging cord. It was stored in a plastic bag under the seat.

It came with the yellow charging cord and (thankfully) no watering system.
I did find a 1/2" cut in the bottom corner of the rear seat. The dealer promised to send me a new replacement seat cushion.
Overall I'm pleased with the transaction and the cart feels well made. The kids love it.
As advertised the new cart goes 25 mph but I was expecting a little better acceleration. I'm used to a 67 Camaro with 400+HP so this is a little different.

Power to weight isn't quite on par with your 67 Camaro!

Now all you need to do is rip out the controller and motor and call Scottyb.

It is AC drive with nothing aftermarket available that can support the in-dash speedomoter/SOC meter and unique features like rabbit/turtle switch and regen braking with hydraulic brakes and EM parking brake. The controller in the 2Five is unique to the 2Five.

Thought I would post this...as everyone who gets a cart and comes to this message board usually calls Scottyb.

This message was somewhere between a joke and posting a message plugging Scottyb .

So my initial impression of the 2Five lacking power has changed after breaking in the cart in some more.

My initial post was after a grand total
of 2 miles on the odometer. Now I have 25 miles and the cart has much more power.

On that first trip the cart topped out at 12 mph on a local hill with two adults. Now I was able to go 18 mph on that same hill with 4 adults.
It was only 40 Fahrenheit that first trip while the second trip was about 60 Fahrenheit. Maybe that had something to do with it.

Anyway, I really like the cart so far and get a lot of compliments.

Glad to hear you like it, it's a pretty good upgrade of the RXV chassis. Now it's time to bump it up to 35 MPH in Rabbit mode
