Re: Something different---6/8's to 4/12's
Yeah, I have a friend with a '10. I'm thinking I can build the panel to attach everything to the rear wall....

You will need a longer wiring harness. It comes with the Kit. I did the conversion in the stickies it was pretty easy.

Gee - this sounds a whole lot more involved than "they will work, everything will be normal"

Re: Something different---6/8's to 4/12's
Got the Carryall up and running.
Put the 4/12's in place of the old, old 6/8's These are just in there now to make sure it will go. I do have plans for making the 4/12's fit and be retained better. Only getting about 6.9 mph out of the cart right now. I am figuring it is the magnet or speed sensor, but the cart DID pass the speed sensor test. Looks like I have the GE Motor. This is going to be a fun winter project! |

Re: Something different---6/8's to 4/12's
Oh, and for those wondering, it was the speed sensor. I swapped the one out of my precedent and achieved a solid 13.5-14 mph on flats and 10-12 mph on a steep grade.
Ordered up a speed sensor and 2 magnets from Dave at Revolution (one for the Precedent too) and a couple of used parts as well. Stay tuned, I found a cowl from a guy at camp, he is giving it to me, plus another fella at camp has a spare set of headlights / tail lights that he will sell me for $40. Already found a roof, but still looking for the struts for the roof. |
