I don't have any fuses on the charger cables or the high amperage cables. The only fuses I have are nine for measuring the voltage of each battery, and seven for my accessories, which are powered by a separate 12 volt battery.

Where did you see a fuse on my white wire? I mounted a fuse for my 12 volt accessories on the charge recepticale, only for convenience.

thanks, (sorry to hijack).
I went with a stainless steel pan head bolt with a nylon lock nut.

Oops! Gettin' old. I see the fuse now, but have never seen one on any wiring diagram.

Ok wanted to make sure the white hot coming from charging receptacle didn't need a fuse before hooking to positive battery terminal

Not necessary, but not a bad idea if you already have it. It will protect the charge circuit if the radsocks ever make contact with each other. Yep, been there done that!

Everything hooked to my pack + is ran through a fuse. I already had one for the + supply to the reducer, and when I got my 48500, one came with it, so I put it in. Figured it couldn't hurt. It's much cheaper / easier to replace a fuse than a component.

Your SR48500 came with a 400 amp slow burn fuse...... you could burn the 20a charger to the ground and not pop that baby - factory for the charger (2005 & up) was 50 amps and you can find them at any auto parts house. Prior to 2005 they did not fuse the charger.
