Default Rear end for EZGO Cart

We have a EZGO Golf Cart model TXTE48V ..date code H211...SN#2748926.......This cart has a bad (noisy and load) rear end. It operates great..just makes a lot of noise. this is a 48 Volt cart.

We also have a Junk EZGO Cart SN#997902 Mfg code A2997 (97 year) and its a 36Volt.

Our question is will the rear end from the 36 Volt cart work in the 48Volt cart.

Any Help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Wayne Waller

Have you checked or replaced the bearings in your 48v? They are a lot easier to pull and replace than swapping the entire rear end out

Will it fit, yes. But you may want to investigate the noise first.

That noise could be the motor

Getting someone to check it out....never thought about it being the motor.

Thanks
