Re: More photos of the mystery Club Car DS body
Interesting. Is the current body just "laying" on the remnants of the original frame?

Re: More photos of the mystery Club Car DS body
Actually, the bolt holes lined up with what was left of the frame. Spacers will be needed on the front, but it looks like we can make a good fit. The body maker states that "you just remove your DS body and simply slip the new one on," The word "slip" is used a little informally here. We pulled all the 36v electrics, including the rear end and motor, out of Sparky (the red EZGO in my avatar) and, after swapping all mounts, brake line/shock mounts around, the MVR is coming together. I was just starting the 48v conversion on Sparky, so this saved us a lot of money. I had new springs in my stash (l never throw anything away), but we'll need a few bits. we'll be looking for a DS windshield frame and top, and a decent bottom seat to recover. There is too much to do to take the time to make one. Then little bits like a F/R knob, and new brake cables, a decent steering wheel (this one was ruined glueing pink fur on) and...and....

Re: More photos of the mystery Club Car DS body
Hi Crash (may I call you by your first name?), nope, it's a Club Car. The recipient in the body switch was, I think he said, a Yamaha. I found a few more photos. The first ones I was sent, offering the cart, showed the pink fur on the steering wheel and column, I didn't ask why. During the transplant you can see ours in the background. Also a shot I found on the internet of the cart at an older BM.

three more, the rear shot shows that, when it was still in the shop, both tail-lights were there.
