Default 6 Inch lift is to high

I have a 2008 RXV with Jakes 6 inch lift. Tires and wheels are 23X10.5X12. I'm getting to old and bad knees make it difficult to climb up into it. Is it practical to lower it by reducing tire size? What sizes would I need to get say a 3 inch drop if that's possible? ANy other suggestions to lower it a bit?

Thanks

Smaller tires will work great......Personally I find it much easier to step up than step down....especially getting out!...IMO

If you went all the way back to stock 18" tires it would lower the cart about 2 1/2". Other option would be to get a 3" lift to replace your current 6" - dropping 3". On an RXV those 23" tires should still clear (just barely) and still look pretty aggressive. To my mind the 18" tires with a 6" lift might look awkward.

You can go smaller on the tires but they also make a mid-rise lift that's 3 inches and not the full 6

Also remember if you go to a smaller wheel it still has to be big enough for the suspension to clear.
