2015 RXV Electric Light Kit
Is it fairly easy to install a light kit on these carts? what is a good kit that is reasonably priced?

Re: 2015 RXV Electric Light Kit
Lots of choices there. Are you looking for just a "basic" kit (head lights / tail lights) or the "street legal" type (add brake, turn & hazards)? Some include horn & charging outlet. Then there's halogen or LED? Check the Site Sponsors links & they will be able to talk you through the choices and their prices. While you can go cheap (eBay, Amazon) those too good to be true prices are most often cheaply made assemblies that fail quickly.

Re: 2015 RXV Electric Light Kit
Installation is pretty much the same on both. The wires all run pretty much the same place with the exception of the turn signal handle and brake switch. Of course, it has a horn as well. I elected to go with the LED street legal kit and have been very pleased. I found the RXV kit much easier to install as the body was very easy to remove. It could have been done without removing the body, but I was painting anyway. As stated above, check the site sponsors for prices and availability.

I think I will probably go with the basic kit. I believe you can make the kit street legal at a later date if desired??

Re: 2015 RXV Electric Light Kit
Yes & no. The light assemblies themselves do have the marker, turn, brake elements in them but may need some adaptation to the different wiring harness. The harness with the switches is what is very different to accommodate the turn and brake light functions.

If your questioning the street legal kit, it’s better to just go all out instead of wait. You will end up paying more if you do it later, in my opinion

Not sure I will ever need it. I don't need it where I ride majority of time in my neighborhood and may take to the woods occasionally where I wont need it. May take it to Jekyll Island and ride there and would probably be fine with the regular lights and some hand signals lol

Hand signals work just as well lol, the turn signal can be a pain always hitting it when jumping in lol
