Please keep in mind, you do not want to lock up the brakes unless you need to in an emergency. Applying the brake pedal so far that it locks up the tires on an RXV is not normal regen (regenerative) braking, it is panic braking to an RXV controller. It WILL destroy the expensive motor brake (parking brake only) fairly quickly. Regen braking needs to be able to handle all every day stopping of the cart without locking up the electric parking brake while moving.

I have a 2010 rxv with the danaher controller and 23 tire,, there is no problem to go forward braking is a little bit long. What i did is added a set of hydraulic jake's front disk brake, brake way faster and give you added safety..

Thanks for your info do you have a problem with hill climbing with a danaher controller did you add bigger battery cables for the increase amp draw

In my case, everything is stock,, and it goes anywhere i want, plus i load it every weekend in my toyhauler without any problem,, really steep hiil, because my site is very hilly..

Thanks for the info JB I'm going to go ahead with my build, Jake's a arm 6 inch lift with 23 inch tires and 2 gauge battery cable for my upgrades and I'm going to investigate more into the disc brakes for the front

Great, what kind of area are you going to use this cart,, flat or hilly , road or off road ?

Ok i ride mine in the same condition, hilly campground almost everytime with 4 passenger in it.... you will be fine....
