Do you actually have a TXT-48V or do you have a Pre-2010 TXT with a series drive whose 36V battery pack has been upgraded to 48V. (What model controller do you have?)

If you have an Alltrax XCT or SR, connect a laptop to it, which will power it up via the USB and and it might blink an error code, or you might see what voltage is missing on the Toolkit monitor page.

Will it work with a MacBook or is it a windows based program?

I also checked the voltage at the solenoid.
Across the large posts-50.4 from the battery pack. 48.0 from the solenoid to the controller.
Small posts- 0v on either side when gas pedal is not pressed.
When gas pedal is pressed-50.4v at both terminals.

Default Ezgo Txt 48v won’t go

I’m starting to believe my solenoid is bad. I have power going to the small posts on the solenoid when the gas pedal is depressed. No click of the solenoid. I removed the resistor from between the big terminals. The battery side of the big terminal is 50.4v and the controller side terminal just drops to 0v with the pre charge resistor off. My solenoid is only 10months old!!!

When pedal is pressed, you should have B+ on the small terminal with two red wires and the banded end of the diode on it, and there ought to be B- on the other small terminal.

Try connecting the black wire from the solenoid to the B- terminal on the controller or battery pack. That should make solenoid click if it is getting 50.4V on the small terminal with red wires. The fact you get 50.4V on both small terminals means the controller isn't supplying B- like it ought to for some reason, or the black wire is bad.

Ok I ran a jumper wire from the black wire to the b- terminal on the controller and the solenoid clicks. Cart doesn’t move

I think he said this was an SR control. It wouldn't supply the negative like the XCT. Or does it?

The is a red wire from the solenoid's small terminal with the banded end of the diode on it that connects to the controller. Check for pack voltage on the controller's terminal this wire is connected to when solenoid clicks.

If no pack voltage, fix the red wire.
If there is pack voltage, the controller might be bad. (It is being told to power up and isn't doing so.)
