Sounds like you have one of the last manufactured Regen 1's. Easy way to tell is that you will hear the main solenoid click once when you turn the key. Then 10 to 30 sec later you will hear it click "off" by itself (places itself in tow with a timed circuit). Pressing the go pedal reconnects the main solenoid for driving. There are no modern upgrades available for Regen 1. Only equivalent (fairly expensive) replacements. Converting to IQ is necessary for upgrading.

I am in the same boat. 97 CC Regen 1. Curious if you got things resolved and how? I haven't purchased anything other than the 6" lift and wheels and 24" tires yet. What direction did you go and how does it perform? |
