2008 ST Custom has front wheel weights??
First time I’ve noticed these on a cart and I took them off and they must weigh 50lbs a piece! What’s the purpose??

Could be to lower center of gravity, to make the cart less likely to tip over. That would be my best guess. Certainly losing performance with them...

Purpose is to drastically reduce acceleration, and increase braking distance.

So no one has seen these before?? This is literally the 2nd cart I’ve seen these on in my area in the last 2 weeks and to be honest they look like they’re factory

ST usually came with a bed installed in back. Could this be some kind of counterweight to offset a heavy load in the back. I myself have TXTs that pull trailers and sometimes when the trailers are loaded the front ends tends to push and not go in the directions the wheels are pointed. My MPT has The two extra batteries and that extra weight you don't feel the push. Just my two cents.
