Wheel issue - tire turned in too much
Driver side front wheel turned in too much and will not allow cart to back up. Have to manually turn wheel as it will not turn back with steering wheel.
I apologize for the sideways pics. I could not get them turned. |

Re: Wheel issue - tire turned in too much
Turn the tires to 0 degrees (dead center) and then turn the wheel all the way to the Right stop and count the turns. Then go back to center and do the same thing again and to the Left stop and count the turns.
If one is more than the other, you are off and have to adjust. If it is even, then check your tie rod ends for excessive wear and tie rods for damage or there is damage to your steering gearbox. It is not abnormal to be off when lifting a cart if it was not done correctly. |

Thanks for the reply. Number of turns off by a very small amount. Also noticed that driver tire is rubbing against the front bumper.

You can also see in this pic how the lift kit is uneven.

I think the steering rod assembly is bent on one side. Can one side being replaced or do I need to buy a whole new assembly?

Re: Wheel issue - tire turned in too much
Replacement parts Depends who made the lift kit. A lot of the Made in China kits you can’t get parts for. Have to replace the entire kit.
Looks like the spindle arm on the left side is bent. Can you post closer photos of the steering arm and tie rod ends on both sides? |

Re: Wheel issue - tire turned in too much
You definitely look to be bent and that is throwing the geometry off. I doubt you can buy that unless it is an All Sports Kit.
