Talking Troubleshoot ERIC Charger

I have a 2016 Precedent and the ERIC charger is giving me trouble. When I plug it in, the blue light comes on but it doesn’t cycle through the green status lights. When I plug it into the cart, nothing happens. I tried plugging it into another Precedent and same thing, blue light on but no charging. I’d really like to fix it or replace parts before replacing it entirely (dealer wants $500!).

Any idea what could be the issue or ways to troubleshoot the issue?

Much appreciated!

Remove the cover where the charge cable is hooked to the charger and check to make sure the wires are connected properly and connections are clean.

With a multimeter handy, plug the charge cord into the cart and see if you get 48V (pack voltage) at the terminals on the charger. If so, the charger is dead and needs to be replaced.

If you do not get 48v at the charger then it’s possibly a bad connection on the cart at the receptacle, or a broken wire in the charge cord.
