2003 Club Car steering
I just got my first cart, actually it was gifted to me. I’m having issues with the steering being a little weird. Left turning is good, it engages right away, but when turning right it needs an extra half turn to actually turn the wheels. I also noticed the right side wheel has a positive camber to it. What are my possible fixes?

Re: 2003 Club Car steering
You'll need to jack up the front end, have a helper move the steering wheel back & forth a bit (maybe 1/4 turn or so) and see where the free play is. Could be the steering rack itself, the U-joint knuckle on the steering shaft where it meets the steering rack, tie rods, kingpins, bushings (control arm &/or spring eyes) or worn holes at some of those pivot points. Keep in mind the steering rack only pushes and pulls on the right side steering knuckle. A drag link connects the right side to the left side to make it follow along.
