Re: 87 ds total overhaul and my first electric
So I finally finished putting all the puzzle together with the wires. Purchased some batteries which are hard to find locally right now. Had to temporarily wire the pedal up so I could at least test it out. I was amazed it spun the wheels after all that wiring job I did...lol. Next up is the body kit and dash. The body should be delivered this evening hopefully.

You’ve done a spectacular job so far Ffemt! I thought I tore mine down when I started a rebuild, not so much apparently... you really took it down to the bones!

Re: 87 ds total overhaul and my first electric
I was in a similar situation with a 6" kit I just installed on a DS. Got the camber set, but could not achieve toe setting - tie rod too long. I ended up extending all 4 heim joints about a half inch, then was able to set the toe.

Re: 87 ds total overhaul and my first electric
So I installed the body kit, and dash. Had to take it for a spin as is to see.....this thing ran 24mph as is without the bigger tires. Threw rocks in the driveway...lol

Re: 87 ds total overhaul and my first electric
My rear seat kit and matching front seat came in finally. Got them both fully installed and I'm happy with the color choice and fitment.
