Default Roykaw voltage reducer heat generation?

Hi

I have all the bits to install my voltage regulator and the wiring all worked out.

It would be super convenient to be able to locate the voltage regulator in the battery compartment on my 2015 Precedent. I have plenty of space given I have ReLion batteries but I am concerned the entire compartment is plastic and that the VR should be mounted to metal.

All of my accessories are in the battery bay so I would only have to run a wire to the key if mounting in the battery bay.

If I mount at the “firewall” I have to run Yellow and Black forward and Red back to the bay..

Thought for those that have installed this model ?

Thanks for all the help, you all are the best !
