Default Bagwell Divider Preventing Wet Sounds Sub Install, Ideas?

I own a 2014 Club Car Precedent and am trying to install the Wet Sounds AS-10 sub in the bagwell area under the rear seats. The problem is, there's a huge spine or bag divider that is fairly large and inconveniently in the way. I'm assuming I'm not the first to do this install, is the only option to cut out the spine? Is there any other solution?

to BGW!

I never modified the bagwell, but have on many other things that are plastic. Try using a heat gun to heat the plastic and push it down with a block of wood. You need to heat it enough to be able to push it down easily with a rag on your finger before you use the block of wood to make it flat.

If you don't have a heat gun, this one works great! I use it for everything including bending pvc conduit:

I may do mine so my lunch cooler will fit there better.

Assuming your sub is able to cover it, it shouldn't look too bad.

There is structural support for the rear of the cart built into the bag well floor so I wouldn't go cutting anything out of there. I would make some blocks to mount it above the rib section.
