Ho Sgrol,
We’re talking about cells here, not batteries. There is a difference. A 12v battery as you describe has 4 LiFePO4 cells in it. A 48v battery has 16 LiFePO4 cells. “Drop in guys” in the comment above was referring to the manufacturers of the drop in batteries, not the end users that are dropping in lithium batteries.
