If you "charge" them and each time you are dead in 1/4 mile your batteries are likely not getting a full charge |

I have a similar problem. Brand new Interstate batteries / older yamaha 48v charger in my 04 DS Transport
After they're "charged" (according to the little light on the charger), 4 out of the 6 batteries read 8.03 volts - the others read 7.9x. The cart has very little range and starts slowing soon after fully charged. I'm thinking it's the charger right??? |

It certainly does not sound like you are getting a full charge.

Your charger is likely at fault. Assuming the batteries are brand new, and properly connected. Time for a new charger. |

Check with someone else's charger to see if yours is defective?
