RXV Fleet outside lights not working

Just purchased a 2012 RXV Fleet from a buddy. He bought it in 2019. It has third party seats, so I assume it has 3rd party lights as well. The inside lights work, but the outside lights do not. He says its always been this way.

Any thoughts?

They are probably turn signal lights. The light kit might not have everything to run them.

I've purchased these oem lights ( removed from a new cart by a dealer ). They came fully equiped with halogen main bulbs and small amber bulbs on the outside ( position lamps ). Check from the backside If sockets/bulbs installed and hook them up as needed.

On a RXV fleet cart, you won't have the whole lights wiring installed as usually only used on the Freedom models.

As CartDoc1969 said, that is the directional/turn signal light. I have this kit installed, which is a similar light. Maybe your cart just has the head/tail lights?

That's what I was thinking. I'll dig into the wiring this weekend. I will probably splice the turn signal into the main harness.

This are the outer C912 RXV oem mini bulbs ( T5, 1a, 150lm ), typical indicator, side marker or dome lamp bulb. Not bright enough for a real visible turn signal

These lights seriously suck. They are so dim.

I installed LED headlight bulbs in my RXV. They are much brighter than the factory halogen bulbs. I like the new bulbs. Note: there is no adjustment for my RXV headlights so glare to oncoming vehicles can be a concern. All the best.
