Default 1510 Harness, 1268 Controller

I’m in a pickle guys. Building a 2005 Club Car DS with Navitas AC 5kw 600a setup on Eco 48v 105ah. Through a dealer, the incorrect controller was ordered. They’re saying there’s a 50% restocking fee if there’s any sign of install. I opened the motor box first, installed it. Opened the box with the controller to find it’s the incorrect controller. My cart was a curtis 1510 (16 pin) and the navitas controller is a 1268 (24 pin). What are my options here. I ordered an adapter yesterday that goes from 16 to 24, but still nervous to use.

Local dealer or online? That’s something that needed to be verified before the order was placed.
If I remember right the navitas just uses a jumper harness to adapt many different harness’s to the same controller. I would check with your dealer if THEY have the correct harness that you need first. Don’t use any adapter harness that goes between your cart harness and the Navitas unless its the one that comes from Navitas.

Yes, i know that it needed to be determined before. The mix up was between the dealer and distributor. And all the navitas jumpers are for dc controllers it seems

Then that sounds like it's the dealers problem, and they should get you the correct controller and/or harness that is needed for your cart. Take the controller and any wiring that came with it back to them.
