When I press the brake pedal the mapped brake % changes as it should. I would say the switch is good. But what is Brake command referenced from???

Make sure both pedals are returning all the way back. You aren't passing the power on self test which is why the cart isn't moving. An emergency stop from 28 mph could have toasted the new brake. Ohm it out and see if it smells.

I believe the brake is good. The reason I say that is because I can plug in the bypass plug and it releases as it should

Check the brake switch, not the sensor.

Got it. Checked brake switch reads closed when plunger is out, open when pushed. Checked accl switch while i was there it is reading correct as well.

Do you have a set of piercing probes ? We need the voltage between pins 17 & 18. Pin 17 is the input voltage from the brake sensor, pin 18 is it's ground.

Here's the manual for the Curtis controller.

Switch in run mode, key on in fwd 0.521v. Voltage increases when pedal is pushed
