2014 Club Car Precedent build thread
Hey y’all!
Going to use this thread as the build log for my 2014 Club Car Precedent. This is a “daily driver” on the golf course we live on. Looking for any and all suggestions for upgrades. Definitely looking for speed upgrades, but any inspiration for looks is definitely appreciated. |

Re: 2014 Club Car Precedent build thread
That's a great platform for a build - lots of aftermarket parts available and the only limitation is your imagination and your wallet.
My street legal 2014 Precedent now does 53 mph on 23-inch tires with a 6-inch lift. I've only had it up to 48 mph so far (no flat roads long enough to go faster), and it feels very stable and secure. I am going to add disc brakes to the front, though. |

Re: 2014 Club Car Precedent build thread
I just bout a 2012 last week. Installed a rear seat kit, rear arm rests, 6" lift so far. Getting new 14" wheels w/23" tires delivered in a few more days. Can't wait! Lol

Any suggestions for upgrades? Also a place to buy from.
I've got a little over $2k budgeted for the build other than back seat + street legal kit. It will be primarily used on the golf course so don't really need a lift or offroad gear. |

I’d highly recommend giving David hicks at revolution golf cars a call. Great guy and he knows these club cars inside and out. An AC conversion would probably do you well, and you could sell your stock motor, controller, etc and recoup some of that money as well. |

Re: 2014 Club Car Precedent build thread
Alright think I've nailed down everything (so far) and just waiting on 1 final question to be answered before I pull the trigger.
- Red Hawk custom dash (carbon fiber) - Madjax Street Alpha body kit (black) - Madjax Genesis 300 rear seat kit (buff to match the seats) - Madjax cooler/storage insert for rear seat kit - Madjax street legal light upgrade - Madjax golf bag attachment Might do lights, but need to get new wheels, seats, top, and probably controller upgrade. |

Re: 2014 Club Car Precedent build thread
I'm not very mechanically inclined but I used to install car stereos back so I'm pretty comfortable with wiring for the most part.
Wife's uncle has been a mechanic for 20+ years and is pretty convinced we can do it in a day... |
