Default G29 not moving solved

I just removed the motor and it looks like the brushes were seized and caused arcing on the commutator which put deep gouges in it and looks like it melted some of the bars together. Can this be repaired or should i just buy new upgraded motor?

That can be repaired by a motor shop that can turn it. I have seen worse than that. You might want to consider an upgraded motor though as the Hitachi motor isn't all that good to start with.

Yeah i think i will but if i get the motor i feel like i need the controller to go along with it. Ill probably go with d&d unless someone knows anyone cheaper. Any experience with navitas vs alltrax?

Both of my G29's have D&D motor and Alltrax controller. Quality stuff.

Plowmans motors are engineered by D&D. My G22 came with a new 300a Alltrax controller, so I got the Riot Kit, minus the 500a controller--the cart flies with only 300a. All of Don's stuff is top notch...

Yeah i just got a used motor for this cart and with the 300 amp ge controller on it it goes quite a bit faster than the moric with speed code on my other cart. I can imagine a more powerful motor and controller. Told myself i didnt need it but now i want more torque. We live on top of a mountain with up and down property. Stock cart slows but still powers up the road. Ill probably go with d&d motor and alltrax controller when i sell one of the carts.
