Default Hole in the Dash

Hey gents. The buggy I bought had a digital voltage level in it that was shot. It also has the volt meter that shows actual voltage which I left. I took out the level reading meter and don't need to replace it. And now I have a hole in the dash. Suggestions to something to patch it with, cover it with, or an easy thing to insert and swap out....? Thanks.

Tons of different guages and other odds and ends you could put there.
Is it a rectangle hole or a round hole?

Or even a picture of the hole so we have some idea of the size & shape.

USB charging ports are always handy. Or a rocker switch mounted horizontally and you can add some some lights or something of that nature to have something extra to run off of it. Lots of options.

Or just fill it with a blank switch cover / knock out. That’s what they do in cars when there’s unused spaces where switches “should” go in higher trim levels and stuff so that wouldn’t look too out of place either.

1" x 2" rectangular hole. See attached before hand pic.

Can't do usb because I don't have 12v in the dash. It's an 08' Precedent. I've tried finding 12v in every wire on the dash and there's nothing. I'm fine without one. I always have a phone charger in my bag when I golf so running a $75 reducer to a $15 plug to seldom charge my phone is not important to me.

I was thinking at worst I could put in a round voltage meter that I would tie in with the digital one. That way if one went I've got some redundancy there.

Rocker switch insert is also an idea. I was hoping someone had a crazy idea I had never thought of or didn't know about.

Just leave old gauge there unconnected. No hole.
