Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
Per the instructions. Install our kit and make it run BEFORE adding electrical accessories.
We ask this. Just get the cart to run and then run it, do the motor break in per the Admiral motor instructions and then in a week or 2 start adding your radio, lights, etc. Thank you |

Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
Cart back together ran once around the block to make sure all is well. Tomorrow or Friday morning before the temp hits 90 I'll take it out and do a motor break-in.

Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
Take your time, have fun, you don't have to do it all at once. Watch the motor temperature too. It's starting at 90 and should not get above 150 so yeah be careful breaking it in in those temps.

Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
I didn't make it out yet but did install ScottyB's voltage meter had to construct a mount because my old meter was a lot bigger. Decided to wire it so it was on all the time. The red will show up much better than the gray one I had. Tomorrow bright and early I'll do the motor break in , temps should be on the high 70's low 80's.

Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
Went out ran for about 320 minutes motor felt hot surface temp was 127 so I parked until temp went down to 110 drove it home and parked it. Going out now to finish break in. Volts went from 52.9 at start to 50.2 when I parked it.

Re: IQ conversion done (maybe)
Final run of the day all went well. I'll now start using it to go the gym in our lodge. Trips to the mail box and maybe even try taking one of the dogs for a ride.
