Cart does not move
I'm helping my neighbor with their cart. 2006 club Car DS IQ. Cart has not been running for a year or more. Batteries were bad and old. They just installed new 12v trojans. Pack voltage is 50.5. All connections appear clean and tight. Cart does not move. No reverse buzzer and charger does not come on when plugged in. Looking for trouble shooting steps. They took a picture of the wires before they changed the batteries and installed back the same.

Re: Cart does not move
Did you look at the glass fuse from the charger port? And also could be a bad obc. Plenty of threads on here resetting the obc could be worth a shot.

Re: Cart does not move
I tried the OBC reset which on this cart was tow run to tow, removed pack neg and positive for 10 minutes, reinstalled cables and back to run. No change. I looked at the glass fuse and also the removable fuse in the yellow rubber holder. They were both good. Would a bad OBC keep a fully charged cart from moving? Is that the correct OBC reset procedure for this cart?

Re: Cart does not move
Not sure about your neighbor's cart but my 2006 Club Car Transporter 6 will not run without the reverse buzzer operating. Found this out when one of the wires to buzzer came loose.

Did you check the fuse coming from the run tow switch?
It powers everything. |

Re: Cart does not move
I'm not sure. I checked 2 fuses. One was inside a yellow oval shaped rubber holder and the other was the clear one that is on the back of the charge receptacle. I don't think there is a 3rd? Any trouble shooting steps?

Re: Cart does not move
I have been reading through some forum stuff on similar issues. There was a mention of an inline fuse (15amp) near the controller. Does this cart have that fuse? Need to get this cart back to running quickly if possible. The family needs it for a special occasion next week. Any quick help appreciated.
