Default 1999 EZGO 36V no power

I upgraded my 1999 EZGO with an Altrax XCT500, 400amp heavy duty solenoid, new 2ga cables and a new charge port in 2017. A few months ago, after the cart was sitting in the garage on my Yewy charger for at least a year, I realized that all six of my batteries were dry and dead. The cart would actually run, but just very weak.

I replaced the batteries yesterday with new Trojan 6V batteries. My volt meter reads 38.2V and my headlights work, so I am pretty sure the batteries are good. However, when I turn the key and push the accelerator, I get nothing. No solenoid click, no fan on the controller, no tire spin.

I have tried to bypass the reed switch and it did not help. I am not positive I did it correctly, so I will try again this afternoon.

Other than that, any suggestions?

Connect your laptop to the Alltrax.

It could be there is an issue with one of the high current cables preventing the controller from seeing full voltage. It could be something else. If you connect the laptop with the free Alltrax software then you will know everything the controller 'sees'. This is beneficial then if you press the throttle and the controller doesn't know it's pressed then you know where to look.

A 99 with an XCT should be a DCS cart with a run tow switch. Here is the diagram for that

Before the batteries died, this cart ran flawlessly. I did not change anything with the wiring when I changed the batteries. I am trying to figure out if the batteries going dead could have affected anything. It has been kept in a garage, there is no rust or corrosion.

I will try to figure out what cable I need to connect my laptop to it to see what I can figure out. I appreciate all advice and suggestions.

So I downloaded the Alltrax toolkit and connected my controller to my laptop. All of the information on the controller appeared on my computer, however, nothing I did to the cart (turn on the key, toggle the run/tow switch, push the accelerator) did anything to what I saw on the computer.

What I am supposed to do with the software and what should I expect to see?

Thanks

Check pins 9 and 10 for pack positive voltage.
