Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
Please give me more info. I assume that I set my multimeter to DCV and put the red lead to the pin and the black lead to a ground?

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
How do I get to pins 9 and 10? It is very crowded in there. Am I supposed to remove it from the mount? It seems the solenoid is in my way.

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
I figured it out. I have 38.1V between pin 9 and the neg post of my battery and between pin 10 and the negative post of my battery

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
Now that I am down in my golf cart, I see my green light on the controller flashing four times.
Only when I have it connected to my computer. |

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
You need to chase the power. With the key on and in forward there should be pack positive on the yellow wire on the small post of the solenoid. Also on the green wire on the ten pin connector when the pedal is pushed.

I have no power (less than 0.5V) at either.

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
Okay now you need to check the yellow wire at the fnr puck. If nothing check the wire on the other side of the micro switch. If it is live jumper across the switch and try again

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
THANK YOU!
It looks like I broke one of the wires at the FNR puck when I was installing the batteries. When I touched the wires together it works. |

Re: 1999 EZGO 36V no power
I was able to push the wire back into the switch enough to see that I could make the solenoid click and the wheels spin, but there is not enough wire left to splice it back together.
Now I just have wait until my new switch assembly wire to come in for my permanent fix. |
