Default New tires and wheels!

I finally installed the new tires and wheels! The wheels are 15x10s - they were used and a bit rough so I spent about 3 hours of polishing per wheel. The tires are 26.5 inches tall, so with my Navitas AC system, it should top out at 59 mph. And it definitely rides and handles MUCH better than with the old ATV-style tires.

That should be something to drive at 60mph :)

26.5" sounds tall, but actually looks great on this one. Very cool.

The Baby-sized wheel bearings on a golf cart can only handle so much.
Looks nice!
but I'd keep it under 30.

No $%^ Way would I run a golf cart any near that fast! I assume you only have rear brakes. Any idea how far you are going to go in a panic stop? These things are only designed to go 20 ish mph with only rear brakes.

You won't want to hit a pothole at 60 mph!
But that sure looks classy-cool.

I've had it up to 50 mph so far, and it's very stable and predictable. The new tires and wheels have eliminated the little shimmy I was getting from the previous off-road tires. I need a longer, flat road to see what it tops out at.

Yep, those drum brakes are not adequate for these speeds. I've got a set of front hydraulic disc brakes that I'm going to install very soon.

I got my new Extreme Team 72V/150ah lithium battery installed this weekend and it fits like a glove!
