DCS Shuttering
Got a DCS cart, batteries are fair, pulled motor to verify brushes are good and move freely, cables are good. When you press the go pedal the cart just shutters. I have 37 volts at rest but drop to 35 when it shutters Pos and neg. cables at controller get very hot.
I do see that the diodes on the little board for the solenoid have burnt. Will this part being bad cause excessive power draw and make the cart shutter? |

Could have sworn I had some of these but guess not. Anyhow changed the controller and all is good.

Re: DCS Shuttering
DCS carts do not like low voltage.. That is one of the primary reasons they fail. The newer PDS had a low voltage shutdown to protect them.
