Default 97 EZGO TXT bucks on acceleration

I upgraded my controller to the Alltrax XCT 500/400 from ScottyB, and initially it ran great. When I would lift off the pedal, I would feel drag on the motor, but my understanding was that was to be expected. A few weeks later, the cart would jerk back and forth on takeoff but once moving ran great. I can't seem to figure out what part is bad, so I am stumped.

Is it possible to test the ITS with a meter without putting power through it (resistance instead)? I know it is risky for the motor to floor it with the wheels off the ground.

Don't know why nobody help?
The test procedure for ITS is here in this section here > https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=132659

Basically the ITS throttle system is the best there is so if it suddenly got jerky there is a problem with the ITS unit or the signal wires. open the pedal box for an inspection. Any water present will raise cane with it. otherwise check the operation and the wires and plug between the pedal and the controller.

Bad inductor. $25 later and it's fixed. Thanks again Scotty.
