With the brake drum off remove the snap ring holding the bearing in place. The bearing and shaft have to be pulled together as a unit. A slide hammer really is needed. The bearing is pressed on the axle unless it has spun on the axle it will need to be pressed off to be replaced. There is a second snapping between the bearing and seal. Look at drawing in the book yurtle referenced.

If I recall, I used a piece of threaded rod and a large socket instead of a pull hammer.

I didn't have to press any bearing in the whole rear end. They can be gently tapped into place, using wood and properly chosen sockets. The motor bearing needs heat, but all others can be finessed into place.

After you get the inner snap ring off, if it doesn't slide out with the axle, try putting the brake hub on backwards, put the nut on a few turns, slide it in and out a few times, should pop out.

A slide hammer with a hook on the end will walk the seal out.
If you have a blind hole puller the correct size to use on the slide hammer it works better.
