It has a special code called "throttle fault", so it sounds like you are OK with that......

well i was playing around with the one and had it switched on and was gonna push the throttle to see if it threw up a code, well the cart took off wide open and hit the other cart. good thing the bodies were off and just the tire hit the frame, it stopped, i jacked up the wheels and it gave the code 1-4. so by that im guessing its the switch.

Yay! I say YAY, because now at least you have something to solve and you're not in the dark. My PDS gave me a 1-2 (throttle fault) and after everything has been changed, (ITS, microswitch, and pedal box wiring harness) I am putting in a new controller.......

ran over my dang leg tho. lol. it scared the $hit out of me to begin with, i'm glad the other cart was where it was because if it hadn't had been this cart would have went thru my shop door or at least put a huge dent in it.

Glad you're Ok! When I very first got my cart I connected up the battery cables and as soon as I put it in forward it took off wide open! I was luckier than you as I was sitting on the cart and able to flip it to neutral! After I changed my pants, I put the sucker on jack stands! Mine was a bad controller.
