Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
Are you getting the ZIP file to open or the PDF file to open?????????????
The PDF file is only a non-functioning picture. The working spreadsheet is in the ZIP file. |

Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
Works for me. I use Winrar to unzip and it opens fine in Excel 2013.

Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
In my case it was the zipped file. I can plug data into it.
Works in "numbers" which is Mac speak for excel. |

Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
I opened the xls file direct from your zip. If I try extracting the xls file to save it first I get an error on running. If I choose "save as" on the running xls I opened direct from zip it saves and runs good. I use MS Excel 2010.
I have no idea what to open the gpw file with, I suspect I don't need it if I choose xls file. |

Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
Glad to hear it is opening okay.
I started calculating my cart's efficiency (AH/Mi) before I upgraded the controller, battery pack and motor. I wish I had started sooner and captured what it was before I upgraded from stock cables to 2Ga, so I would know how much of a difference they made, but I didn't think of it at the time. One of the things I've noticed is that surface charge doesn't seem to have much energy in it. Or at least the elevated voltage while on float charge doesn't. I've disconnected the DPI charger and let the batteries rest for 12 hours; And I have disconnected it and ran the cart about a mile and then let it rest for half an hour; And I have simply started the test drive a few minutes after disconnecting the batteries from float charge and called it 100% SoC; And the AH/Mi on the test trips come out very close to being the same. So these days I just unplug the cart while it is on float charge and call it 100% SoC. Also, on recovery time after the test drive, it continues to climb for at least an hour after you stop, but most of it happens in the first half hour, so that is what I use. AH/Mi, like MPG, varies considerably with the way the cart is driven as well as where it is driven, so take that into consideration where doing comparisons. The EV crowd uses Watt-Hour per Mile or Kilo-Watt-Hour per mile, so just multiply AH/Mi by your pack voltage to get WH/Mi. (I average about 3.8AH/Mi or 167WH/Mi.) |

Re: Estimating what your cart's range is.
I actually own a legal copy of Office 2013, when they offered it for $9.99 to government employees, and allow it to be installed on two machines.
I've run Linux several times, but all peripherals don't offer Linux drivers, and it takes a while to really learn how to get the most out of it. I also used Open Office for a while. |
