Oh, ok. I'm new to this and thought you had to start a new one each time. I did add to one but thought I had messed up. So just go to post reply then, cool sounds good.

Well after getting the purple on, I wanted to give it time to dry out good enough to tape over. ( green frog tape works great ) Here is the top frame work western is famous for. My wife said she would handle the black vinyl top we decided to go with. So here I am on stands, finishing a little body work and getting ready for taping everything off

Yep you got the hang of it now Hit reply just like I am to you and you are on your own thread responding to us.

Maybe a mod can merge the other posts into this one so that there all in one place. I thought the first too were a mistake, honestly till the third one came up. And it was even stranger to me most of them were body and paint stuff, which I thought would normally be put all in The same thread. And stranger they all had the same title? But I understand if your new and don't know how forums work I guess I can give you a break.

Cool wook. Keep it going. And you can start a new thread for The top if you like or probably just keep it here as part of your build.

I thought that things worked like a chat room, but this is much better. I had made a few comments but never did a project with a time line. More on the way.

That was interesting. Working with a different paint gun is a bit strange. well the first of more than a couple coats of orange paint. Everyone I looked at had darker base paint and or flame jobs. Now I like flames, but it seems to be the going thing. So just to be different I chose a plain orange without any metallic in it.

How do they paint down into the cubby holes.

Now time for more paint, a bit of color sanding with 800 wet, and some polish. Mothers polishing compound works very well. Not bad for no clear coat. I guess I can spray clear later. Time to put some parts back on.
