Default 48 volt Battery meter. Wrong?

Will the 48 volt LED battery meter I just got in the mail work on my 36 volt cart?

Describe meter or post picture but most likely not.

Honestly fuel gauge type LED meters are not what you want to use. Use a digital LED meter.

and no, a 48 volt "10-led" meter will not read correctly on 36v. unless you add 2 more batts and make the cart 48v,, yep, thats the solution, convert to 48v..

Send it back... Purchase a digital voltage meter that reads voltage directly as in 48.9 volts... Those bar graph Full to Empty meters are really not worth the effort and money... No a 48 volt meter is not gonna work correctly on a 36 volt cart....
