Default I think I may have messed up

Put new batteries in my 36v PDS. All wired correctly. Accidentally hooked them up with the tow/run switch in run mode. The negative cable sparked/arced. Now I get nothing, at all. What did I fry?

Controller!!? If it don't work that may be it. I have heard Scotty say that they always have to be in tow to work on them or you will have a $500 lesson?

I hope you got by without this lesson!

Like Clemson I hope not a hard learned (earned) lesson too... My experience with carts is short but what I've learned about multi battery systems is to remove a cable from within the pack ASAP and replace said cable absolutely LAST...

If it's wired correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. Are you sure it's not something else like the small wire from the charge port or the key switch?

Check all the small details before assuming that the controller is toast.

Are all the wires connected?

Are the fuses good?

I know you said the batts are wired properly, but double check. I've messed up simpler tasks.

Check for battery pack volts on the red/white wire coming out of the back side of the charger plug on the cart
