Unfortunately this cart is at a crossroads where it's older and somebody is going to have to spend a little to fix it. Look around for another working motor from the same drive system. Put that in and see if the trouble stops

3 things you gotta know right off when considering a replacement control. I hope I can sum it up in 3 lol.
1. Do not get suckered into a rebuilt control. There is no rebuilding - just repaired controls that go bad again and again because they are old and wore out. So stay away - you can spend your money way better than this.
2. do not buy stock controls. They are smallish controls engineered for golf and cost as much as better bigger aftermarket controls. It's a no brainer. Bigger IS better.
3. shop price and features. New controls are hitting a competitive market with features we only dreamed about a few yrs ago. They have higher peak and sustained out put and are user programmed for zero added cost with a usb cable and laptop. They are as plug and play as controller replacement can get.

I did it

I think you said DCS cart? If yes. You got lucky. This sepex drive cart makes more speed than series and more torque than PDS. The stock controls were weak. The new Alltrax XCT400 and a decent set of cables is all you need for this cart. Now and after a rear seat is added & with good batteries you will be impressed. The control and HD SW180 solenoid is on sale for $435 someplace right now. This includes all the mounting bracket and hardware, diode, everything you need.
