Interesting. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize this might be a common issue. Useful if I need to do this again sometime.
That is exactly the problem I had. I managed to align the one hole that had this issue without loosening the allen screws - with a screw driver in the hole and a little lever action and muscle - since the brake plate was just a "whisker" out of line. But just a "whisker" is enough to make getting the bolt through impossible. And then even a "micro-whisker" makes aligning and threading the bolt back in to the motor problematic. Especially if working around the frame for the back seat and it's the back bottom bolt. |
