2. Next swap the cables on the F&R at the 9 0'clock and 3 0'clock positions and tell me if this reverses the direction of the problem.


3. Then Confirm the solenoid is activating in both directions.

I will do the continuity test tomorrow. I did it today, but want to make certain I got the correct posts. I think I did and both had continuity. Will report tomorrow night.

Ok. back again. Yes I do test thje polarity of the FNR switches ans it was okay. I reversed the cables on B and D and it reversed the polarity of the motor. Yesterday I had reverse and in forward the cart would inch forward. Today with switching the B and D cables and the different FNR switch I have full power back.

I have been thinking about your suggestion of upgrading to the HD switch and I probably will go that direction when finances allow. In the meantime thank you a million for all the help, advice and wisdom.

Your welcome. My initial assessment was correct. The trouble is that everybody is selling the same HD F&R that is really not heavy duty enough for these carts which is why we build our own parts for these to make a true increased capacity switch # EZ575 for TXT and #EZ585 for Marathon.

Wouldn't it not have been cheaper to buy the quality one forst...before you bought that many? Would of been cheaper if at the second on you bought from scottyb before the THIRD one was bought!

I didn't buy the extra ones, I had rebuilt that many for other cheap skates, and believe me I AM buying one from you as soon as I can!!! And, I will try to sell other people on them too.
